A driver has been charged after a crash involving a school bus in Lambton Shores.
On April 7, 2025, around 4:15 p.m., Lambton County OPP officers responded to a collision at the intersection of Lakeshore Road and Parkview Crescent. The crash involved a school bus and a passenger vehicle.
There were students on the bus at the time, but thankfully, no one was hurt.
After investigating, police charged a 38-year-old from Goderich under the Highway Traffic Act for passing when the roadway was not clear.
The Lambton County OPP is reminding all drivers to slow down and be ready to stop for school buses. Drivers should always keep a safe distance and stay alert, especially when students are nearby.
